Which transmission mount kit to get?

Took my car into a shop today to see what they could do about some drivetrain flex in my near 100k car. The shop owner recommended we start with a transmission mount job first and go from there.

I'm going over a couple options and not sure which one to go with. There's the perrin mount which looks like it inserts through and over the mount, and then there's the whiteline insert. Both can be installed at the same time apparently. So which one to go with, either one or both? Or would it be better to get an STi mount?

The whiteline insert is a popular choice that doesn't cost too much.

The STi combo of engine/transmission mounts significantly reduce driveline slop without adding to NVH. I had them on my previous WRX and was so impressed that I added them to my BRZ within the first month of ownership.

I have the sti engine mounts, white line trans insert, and white line diff inserts. Car feels tighter, more responsive, and no noticeable NVH.

I have the whiteline and Perrin mounts installed together. NVH increased slightly but it is worth it for me. I recommend it and super easy to install.

Good stuff thank you for replies. I ordered a perrin and whiteline bushing combo (the perrin shift stop apparently, not the mount kit).

I might consider upgrading to STi mounts on my planned 120k mile maintenance.

Any chance you have the STI mount part numbers?
