Well, I'm notifying my boss of my retirement this morning. Should be entertaining. I'll bet I don't get any "congratulations" kind of reaction. What I will get is "you need to train someone, show them what you do, why didn't you give us time to hire a replacement" shit. I think I might be sick for the next 3 weeks.

I've been promised a promotion for 13 years, brought new skills to the table, became a certified SQL DBA on my time and dime, customized our financial reporting application to the point that my customizations have become part of the vendors product (vendor did give me a free trip to Disney world), solved reporting problems and saved them from buying over 250k in new software by building solutions with existing applications, and now my position is being demoted. I owe them nothing. My new boss of 2.5 years has never even had a 1 on 1 with me, never. I have not had a new assignment in 2.5 years. I sit here and shit post all day. Again, I owe them nothing.

In fairness to @sharky8 there are a shitload of websites that refer to Elon Musk as Ilona Mask for some reason. Maybe he is "crazy hot" guy to females?
