I have a 19 mile commute that takes about 45-50 minutes regardless of which route I take. On a good day it's not really stop and go. Morning commute is only part highway, then mostly non-highway main roads. Afternoon commute is a split between the two. I've been seeing 31.5mpg consistently lately.

15 mile commute with a 6 mile section of 60mph back road and town/city stop and go at either end.

Usually 25-29mpg. This morning, I managed 34. (Converted from UK gallons to US gallons for your convenience ) To do that I drove like a granny, 6th gear by 30mph and lots of free wheeling.

I averaged around 22-24mpg and that is near 100% city.

most my mileage is highway but there is a lot of traffic during rush hour. i'd say 60-70% 55-70mph cruising and the other 30-40% traffic stop and go and shift gears etc.

29.9 MPG

I average about 28-30 in stop and go traffic here in LA when I'm driving in AT mode. That drops to an average of 23-25 overall though since I drive in Sport mode a ton and put the peddle to the metal when I can :P

AVG is 29.3 over the course of 21k miles.

I autocross about once a month, though I don't think this matters much - a whole day is probably only about 10 miles of the whole tank.

I don't granny drive, and I do drive fairly aggressively/spirited.

My daily commute is 54 miles round trip. It's somewhere between highway and stop and go city. No expressway, but 40-50mph roads with not too much stopping (every mile/mile and a half or so). I'd say it's a good representation of true "mixed" driving, actually - a bit of the highway benefits without the real "city" bumper to bumper.

Plus, the car really gets great mpg at 45-55 mph in 5th or 6th (doesn't matter, both are well above 30 on the instant readout unless up a hill or accelerating)
