Cheers.

With my son turning 16 next year it looks like the car might go up for sale if he decides to get his license. Looks like a WRX STI might be in my near future as a replacement.
If you're just considering buying new tires just to resell the car, I could probably give you a good deal on my OEM tires. I just have to make sure they're in good condition first. They've been sitting in my garage since last year waiting for my brother to use them. He isn't going to use them after all.

So no S/C?

A brand new WRX STI wouldn't be a bad replacement however

You know you're going to buy the Supra when it comes out. Just hold on to the FRS until then.

A possibility for sure. I don't think it will be released next year as there have been no leaks at all.

Looks like it could be introduced at the Tokyo auto show at the end of this month.

DODGE Charger RT

My wife and I have been driving around a 375 hp Hemi powered Dodge charger RT the last 2 weeks. Great engine sound with plenty of go. However the traction just isn't there. Ass end was sliding out on the mere suggestion of moisture on the road. I will say though that my wife preferred it over her Lexus. Said for the first time she felt alive while driving. She had to give it back last night and was pretty bummed. Was a very fun car to drive. Lexus handles 100 times better though.

Sloppy Tony Graham

So Tony Graham Toyota hasn't been using the corporate VIN database for service records on my FR-S.

I purchased the extended warranty - since the car was a new platform and way more complicated than any car I had owned up to then - so it also included 8 oil changes.

First off, at Tony Graham Scion, I was never offered my initial "free" welcome oil change - they just started taking them from my warranty.

I was changing oil twice a year, plus I changed it within the first 1,000km.

I ran out of the warranty ones and I think they charged me for one oil change this past June - but I also had a $200 credit that covered that change.

Anyway, I figured it was time to try Barrhaven Toyota finally, so I took it in a couple weeks ago to get my warranty work done (non-cricket fuel pump and a faulty window switch), the recall for the ignition key (?) and my free welcome to Myers oil change.

Going over things with the service advisor at Myers, he showed me the online corporate records and according to them I still had 3 oil changes from my warranty package ?? So he said, we'll do the Welcome change next time, we'll use one of the warranty ones this time. OK

So my extended warranty runs out Mar 6 and since I park it for the winter I won't have an opportunity again to exercise it - that's why I put it in there late in the season.

So, just thought I'd share that with you. Tony is sloppy

Myers Barrhaven Toyota was very good, treated my car and me with respect and they even parked it inside over night they had to wait for some of the parts for a day or two.

Cheers,
Ken
