I'm trying to decide between Q300 and Borla. Does anyone know how much the Q300 weighs? Which is louder? Any other opinions welcome. TIA

i installed my Q300 with catless front-pipe last week and the sound is just right. Not too loud at all when driving inside the car, no drone at all. When you're not on the gas it sounds very tame and almost stock. But from outside you can definitely hear it, and when its in the rev band it makes a fantastic sound outside. I also noticed a gain in power and torque from the butt dyno, definitely helps smooth out the torque dip between 3-4.5k rpm. Feels much smoother throughout the rpm range. And even though it is catless it doesnt smell at all. This exhaust system is perfect for DD and still provides more than enough sound. And i can imagine it will get a bit louder once i put some more miles on it but not too much louder. And a big thank you to the guys at @ft86Speedfactory for delivering it very quickly.

FWIW I found the weight of the Q300 and it's 39lbs which is the same as stock +/-.

when i do exhaust upgrades ill do the q300 because its only about $100 more than sp elite and i will also replace the headers to get more volume and more power.

I'm torn between Q300 and Borla. Borla is 10 lbs lighter, costs about the same and is also drone-free but I'm afraid Borla might be louder than what I want. I can't really tell from sound clips. Has anyone heard them both in person?

ended up going with the q300 and installed it today. It is definetly not a loud exhaust. Very tame. I hope it loudens up a bit as it breaks in. Love the look of it though
What other ways to make it louder if its not as loud as I like? |

could just go q300 with a catless/unresonated front pipe. that will louden it up a little. Otherwise just go N1!
