Not to hijack the thread, but I currently drive an AT with OFT. I'd love more power, but let's face it. The car is quick (compared to my previous cars) but isn't fast without FI.

With that said, I bought it due to the feel and connection of the road and the responsiveness of the handling. Here's my dilemma. I'd love headers, and am ready to pull the trigger on some P&L catted (emissions in my county).

The more I think about things, the more I think I will go TRD Sway and springs to keep my warranty in tact without them having another reason to void it.

Tl;Dr
Convince me by telling me how sway/springs makes a bigger real world difference than headers.

You'll feel the difference a lot more with springs and sway bars than you will with the header, especially without a custom tune to take full advantage of the header.

anyone have info on the sway bar bushings? Is this like a traditional aftermarket bar that you have to grease every now and then, or being oemish is it maintenance free?

So I had a 10% off accessories coupon from my dealer(YMMV on being able to use things like that on TRD since it's often on the exclusion list) and ordered the sway (not the best bar I'm sure, but at least they can't say it voids my warranty). Tried to get the springs, but they told me there's currently a stop order put on the springs. Interesting some places offer them and some do not.

The springs have been a very finicky topic when trying to order through dealers. They are available and I've got them on my car (3k miles on them and counting). They will be available through dealers at some point soon, considering they will come standard on the 2014 yellow FRS RS 1.0

I picked up these from my dealer yesterday, it took a week to get in. Just a FYI, they will ask you if you have fog lights on your car and if you say yes they will deny your order.

Let me know if you guys want better pictures.

I laughed when I read this on the instructions. Just ask them how mechanical springs work with electrical fog lights lol

So if they will deny your order based on having fog lights, if you say you don't have fog lights when you order them in order to get them, would the dealer then not install them for you when they see you do have fog lights?

I have been waiting for these so I can get them dealer installed to maintain my warranty, but if they won't install them since I have fogs?

If that's the case, I may as well go another route.

I guess it will depend on if the tech working on your car actually read the provided instructions.

I would guess it has to do with DOT requirements about light dispersion and how a low-mounted light's beam and dispersion would be affected by lowering the car.
