sold the last of my stock options I had, bought an OFT and as I was in San Ramon I was able to pick it up today instead of having it shipped Installed the tune, so far so good, need to drive it a bit more though to test it out

Eight six, understeer.
Over, too, at Laguna.
Concrete wall: ker-plunk.

The Scion beckons:
Follow me to certain death,
But with nicer parts.

Control arms, cam bolts,
N1 pipes shriek in Woodside.
Still no damn header.

So, what does everyone think about that Grimmspeed intake? I'm reserving judgement until an OFT specific tune is released for it. Build quality looks good, but it doesn't look very much different than the early Airaid intake or even the Injen. Thoughts?

Obviously its their info, but they provided a lot of data. Main benefit being the AFRs are very close to stock. That is a plus as it will see better gains with a tune I think than others that make power leaning things out. Even the ots OFT maps saw pretty good numbers. The curve also looks less peaky than drop ins and some other intakes.

I look at it this way, a filter and new hose are half the cost essentially. This i think will perform better in the end (however minimally) and cleans the engine bay up nicely. I wouldnt pay full price, but I'm prob gonna jump on the GB price. Plus Im kind of a Grimmspeed whore.

I like Grimmspeed stuff (have 3 of their products on my car) but I'll probably skip this one. Not because I don't think it works but because I already have enough mods (filter, inlet hose, tune) that get me close to the power gains it brings. No doubt, it's a good price to buy it on the GB as it probably won't get that low again for a long long time.
