Aftermarket head gaskets for FA20

Aside from Cosworth and Cometic, does anyone else offer a head gasket for the FA20/4U-GSE?

Thanks.

I do not believe there are any. if it makes you feel any better we use cometic for our builds and have never had a failure or quality control issue.

Thank you.

I am working with a head gasket maker out of Taiwan, who is also an OEM supplier for several top tier brands out of Japan.

Trying to see if head gaskets make sense for the FA20 market since it's a new platform and many people boosting their cars don't opt for engine rebuild.

They can also offer many variations like Cometic. Also trying to target $100-150 price point.

I ran oem on a properly decked block and heads at 30psi (600whp) for close to a year. Oem gaskets on a Darton sleeved block at around 700whp as well with no signs of failures or high coolant pressures when I tore that motor down.

We're about to offer thicker gaskets too over the stock 0.78mm thickness
I feel I should also point out that our gasket is the only one to run closer to the chamber than the stock item, so reducing crevice volume

While true Cometic is offering 89.5mm as a catalog number which is backwards compatible to 86mm, they can make it an actual 86mm bore. I love Cosworth product but bias to my local company 10 min down the road. I have had so much success with them since 2001 when they got into the Automotive market. Yet to see one fail.

You will be very limited on any design changes. The factory gasket is actually 89.5mm bore size. The timing chain limits thickness changes. Honesty if you are investing it is not worth the tooling costs to recoupe if you are trying to make a thicker turbo gasket. I want to say Cometics price point is already like $140 a set and you can request any customization's free of charge. i.e larger head stud holes, bore size changes thickness changes ect....
Also the MLX design has a 3 die processed folded center layer like the HKS Stopper gasket at less than 1/2 the cost.

Thanks for the info.
The gasket is already made, I just need to figure out how many to bring in and what the market currently has.

Price point will be similar to Cometic, but at the end of the day it's all about what the market wants to pay for and use.

When are these coming and how do they affect the CR?
