You could use a little more caster FYI.

Anybody know spring rate for the TRD's? Where's it better to start? Tires, Springs, or alignment? When it comes to chassis tuning. Not trying to thread jack. I cant wait to do some mountain driving with some sticky tires.

It's different, they changed frs damper to closer to brz setting starting 2015.

Curious, what performance benefit is there to increasing caster on this car? I just moved mine up with the Raceseng CasCams from 5.9 to I suppose 6.9 degrees, the steering feels heavier but I don't like it, it almost feels like an artificial weight with no benefit, I'll drive it hard before I go back to be sure but so far I'm not a fan.

Basically, as you turn the steering wheel your outside tire loses negative camber (even without body roll). More caster limits this effect. It's noticeable mostly in tighter corners with lots of steering input.

Steering feel does get a little weird with higher values. Some really don't like it, other's don't mind it.

You're killing me Andy.

I have the whiteline caster bushings. I'm honestly not sure what finally the number is, but I think it was ~5.5 deg.

I've replaced my strut mounts 13 times. I have no desire to do it again. At this point unless the extra camber and caster from an adjustable mount is going to give free felatio every time I get in the car, I'm gonna stay with the group n mounts.

How much were your new mounts again?

I want to say mine were at least 5.5 or 5.9 OEM everything, I think you might be misremembering...

$419.

Maybe try that 16mm rear bar first.

I agree, that seems a bit low if you have the WL caster bushings.

One other possible drawback is overworking the onboard power steering, increased caster does put more stress in the steering system.

Given that a handful of us were able to overheat the electrical power steering by simply running R-comps, it may make it worse.

It definitely feels like I'm overworking the steering for no good reason, but that's probably just my mind making stuff up.
