I'm trying so hard to be understanding about the sheer amount and quality of work that's going on, but I'm so excited for this I can't help but get impatient!

There is AM header wrap you can purchase. It's a little spendy but worth it. Also on a stock platform the skid plate keeps most of the header heat in anyway. :happy0180:

Quick update for those reading this at 821pm PST-

I will have the car on the dyno in the next to early AM (hoping about 0830 my time) and will be on it for as long as it takes. There are a few things I want to play with after the baselines are done to see if there isnt some magic to be had. I am banking that the magic is already there just as it was the other day when I threw it on.

Someone will be updating by Noon tomorrow one or another

I had a very good talk with John at Nameless today. I am on the list for the STX compatible header and am very excited to see the production version. I just sent John an email I hope he finds very interesting.

You're tuning through ECUTek, correct? Are you going to be offering the map to go along with the full Nameless system (catless header, 2.5") for those of us who are going to run it? Or would each car need to be tuned individually?

Hey Aron, I did not have any luck with the GDI Ratio yesterday.. though I did not have much time to spend on it since the clock was ticking... I did not mess with the DI Firing Angles at all though so there may still be something to look at there.

Looking forward to the results and placing an order

7 am CST, already at work. Ready for my Nameless updates, lol. So glad these aren't blocked!

So what are you guys' predictions? I'm thinking the 2.5" system is going to be the sweet spot with gains from low to high. You're going to see a really straight curve on the graph from 0 to redline. Not to mention, I'd be running this header on a DD, so if the sound is manageable with a Helmholtz resonator for highway cruise, I'll be getting that OP/DP.

In before the "HOLY !#$*!"

All this. Except I'm getting it even IF the sound is too wicked, I might just need ear plugs for long cruises. Acceptable trade, I think.

I'm with you right there man. My girlfriend last night told me, "Just remember who rides in the passenger seat." I said, "Well, look who's in the driver's seat? You know I like to be a racecar driver."

The Helmholtz is supposed to help with that highway cruise.
