Depends on whether you're fat or not I guess?
I did mine using jack stands and there was not need to remove any covers.

Anyone know the size of the washers? ?part numbers? Wanted to order some - since everything is shut down and cant just run out and try a couple.

I purchased 10mm washers from Lowes, stainless steel and nylon. With the SS I was not able to put the pin back in (~2.05mm thich). Nylon worked (1.65mm thick), but I'm going to check it to make sure it's not wearing poorly.

Necro thread... looking at the 2022 shifter linkage the pin holding the washer (no change) has been changed to a ring clamp. Otherwise everything looks the same although not the same part numbers.
https://parts.subaru.com/a/Subaru_20...11-350-01.html I might order this ring clamp and see if it works better than trying to find a slightly thicker washer. not sure how such a tiny ring clamp works is it just one piece that's stretched to fit on? |
