What about 86_zn6 changing to 86 industries? None of the bad reviews stick to his new forum name.

I'd rather blowtorch my nipples off or run around in -45 naked till my junk froze off than deal with fa20club.

most of the tune inquiries that i get, and a few that i've done recently have been from people with serious drivability issues (i.e. stalling, bucking, etc.) on fa20club turbo kits/tunes. it's in large part due to the issues people have simply getting updates at all, but also the crappy maf location on the fa20club kits making achieving decent low-speed drivability very, very difficult.

I'm not the only one that has reported this. There was a thread in which it was mentioned recently as well. Evasive had similar issues and a new maf tube is supposed to be in the works to resolve it.

Jamesm, thank you for the reply.

Is the "crappy maf location" the FI systems or the NA Systems?

My daughters NA AT car (FA20club EL Header and CAI) used to "buck/surge" with the Ecutek tune Stage2b5 I purchased from FA20club. With technical support from FA20club, datalogs and subsequent tuning files it was eliminated.
Januarys purchase of an OFT, and Shiv's tunes has dramatically changed the character (smooth, linear, no surging or laying over between gears at part throttle) and exhaust noise levels are dramatically reduced.
I feel the intake and exhaust components, from FA20club are working very well now, as they were intended. I don't have a dyno sheet to substantiate this before/after claim. Fuel economy is up, way up + 4 mpg increase.

No, this would only pertain to that of the turbo kit. You can tune around it, it's just harder and takes a lot more time.

It's clear to see why this is the case. The thing sits smack in the middle of a bend, crooked.
