I should have some time this weekend to look at it. Plug in some fuses and probe the pins to see if they output some power.

I swear I remember seeing a white/red wire already in that connecter. If so It may be really simple.

I also distinctly remeber hearing a relay clicking in the Body ECU area when I turned on the the fog lights so that could be the fog light relay. Hoping so.

FRSFirestorm,

Oh, Man. I've a Nobel prize in Automotive Engineering with your name on it if you can actually verify and confirm all the above.

That would be a huge discovery, as I suspected all along that a relay already exists as part of the ECU.

This is not a hollow promise, I'm an R&D Engineer\Scientist Manager with the Corps of Engineers, so the least I could do is to send you a token of appreciation medal!

I'm an Automotive ME Knowledge is power, all it takes is the time investigating the schematics. The key was printing the dang manual. Couldn't follow things and trying to scroll through the PDF document.

I am 99% positive the relay is in the ECU. Before driving home I turned on the headlights which would have turned on the parking like relay on the ECU. Turning on and off the fog lights I could certainly hear another relay. I'm betting right now that the internal hardware and circuitry is there.

I've not actually probed the wires. My probe is at work.

10A fuses are already in the proper slots. FROM THE FACTORY

The white/red and red/white wires are already in the connector. FROM THE FACTORY

This really could be very simple.

Picture of the wiring. Connector bottom left. Count up 3 slots then to slot 5.

And they ouptut voltage with the fog light switch on and don't when the switch is off. The hardware is in the ECU and functions!

With the switch on.

Worst case you tap into the wiring here but they have to have another end somewhere and I'm betting its under the hood. Finding them is the next task.... back to the manual.

This is tooo easy!

Quick question: if this is indeed true would we still need to ground the wiring at the stalk if we changed that out?

No, just plug up the stalk. Don't do anything with the white wire running in that circuit. When you turn the switch on the stalk it grounds that circuit and energizes everything. You get fused power out of the white/red red/white wires I have pictured above and the indicator light in the dash.

You don't need any more relays. Just tap into these wires and run them to each individual fog light. Ground the lights somewhere near them.

I wish I did, but I wasn't given it, and I asked. I'll pass it along as soon as I get it, though.

May have found the wires. I'm gonna have to hit the auto parts store or stop by work and pick up a wire probe. Not going to cut into the harness until I'm sure these are the right wires. According to the schematics/wiring manual they should be run to this area. Right next to the fog lights.

You sir, are a scholar and a gentleman.

I'm curious as to where the two wire terminate though.
