Did 3 more 3way switches, and 2 for a ceiling fan and light. They had the fan on a light rotory dimmer. It made a ton of noise. Got it on the correct switches and now it is quiet as a mouse. I've got about 30 more switches/outlets to go.

Did the porch lights work out?

And i highly recommend changing outlets for the 'tamper resistant' kind. Some area's are starting to require them more, so it's good to upgrade at least for any potential fork-wielders(young and old!), or if you were to ever sell in the future, it's either a bonus selling feature, or a step ahead of the home inspector.

Have you checked the local police log -

Several years ago, when I first moved out here, I went to a new barber. It was a small shop with only one chair. There was just me, another fellow and the barber present.

Just after he had cut my hair and was about to use a razor around my ears, something someone said set him off. He started yelling, shaking and went berserk. I ripped off the apron, told him that was just fine, tossed him a $20 and quickly exited. Needless to say, I never went back.

Porch lights are great. I never did get the programmable switch to work. I tried wiring it on either side of the 3 way with no luck. Then I even tried putting it in place of a single switch with still no luck. I'm taking it back to HD today.

I'm changing all the switches to rockers and adding a few dimmers. Changing the color from "off-white with paint" to white. Dam dimmers are expensive. I got just the regular outlets. Those tamper resistant ones are kind of a pain. I haven't done any outlets yet. This house was built in 1988 and one thing is for sure, there are plenty of outlets.

Edit: I have the tamper resistant outlets in the kitchen. I think I'll go with your recommendation and get them for the rest of the house.

I went to my new cardiologist on thursday. Seems like a decent guy, I guess about 45, with a drawl (reminded me of Humfrz). They asked me to bring my prescriptions IN THE BOTTLES. I did. He said they always like to see the bottles with new patients because people "often write it down wrong".

I pick up my prescriptions at Walgreens today. All 3 are wrong, from the doctors office. Doesn't give me a warm fuzzy.

This is the hardest thing. Dogs are masters at hiding pain. Putting down a pet sucks. I think I kept one dog (Tamra, husky/Shepard mix) alive too long. That is why I want to wait to get a dog till I know it will outlive me.

I almost did. got sick thursday and felt sorta sniffly friday, ended up going to a retirement ceremony and passed out back at the house. the weekend i had early morning shift and I struck a fever at work, ended up coming home to nap and then toss and turned to waking hours.

fever finally broke saturday night and I just finished up my last shift for the run so now i get a few days off. (oddly..)

Ive been contemplating throwing the PP sachs dampers on and not touching the car anymore. I really just want to drive it and getting under the car to check stuff always is a pain.
