Drove my FRS up onto a pair of rhino ramps and tinkered underneath the car for a few hours.

Then I backed down off of the ramps. Did not crash.

I reckon you could give some folks round these parts some lessons in garage driving and backing up without crashing.

Just that when I'm old AF, I hope to be as somewhat capable as you are.

My grandparents can't drive anymore at all, and that would make me sad.

Well, thanks, Spuds …..

Yep, I dread the day that I will no longer be able to drive ……

I don't know when that will be ……. but, I'm getting the idea, that it will be sometime after I started backing into things ……

Drove my FR-S to work Saturday, did not crash.

Headed east out of town on a 2-lane road behind a situational-awareness challenged minivan. We were doing about the same speed, about 62, and she seemed to be purposely staying in front of me as I looked over her shoulder once or twice, and she kept her speed up (I was on cruise, she wasn't).

We both caught up to a pickup doing about 58. She slowed to the truck's speed with just about 1 car-length between them. <rant>I hate that. If she wants to pass the guy, she should be several car lengths back for good visibility. If she doesn't want to pass the guy, she should be several car lengths back to follow.</rant> I peeked over her shoulder again, used my blinker and accelerated into the lefthand lane. When I was all the way next to her, she pulled into my lane, forcing me to drop my left two wheels into the ditch. Several seconds of sketchiness ensued.

I was far enough up beside her that when she noticed me, we made direct eye contact. She dropped back, I pulled back onto the road and completed my pass. I couldn't tell whether she signaled, because I was already past the back of her vehicle when she made her move.

Sadly, I realized when we made eye contact that it was my daughter's mother-in-law behind the wheel.

tldr; Did Not Crash

No crash but may make for an awkward family get together some time in the future

Drove the twin to work today. I can hardly see out the windows with about 1400 miles worth of HWY 5 bugs from my recent trip to Vantucky. I still need to wash. Did not crash.
