My Dad asked me this weekend if I wanted to keep my AOL account that I got more than 20 years ago on the good ole 56k limited minutes AOL plan. I told him I sure as hell do. It was my first e-mail account. Also, we use DVD-RAM disks at work as they are the largest capacity hardware lockable disks available. They work like a champ.

We had a seperate phone line just for the modem as well. Also my Dad is the only person I know who still uses the actual AOL program over his high speed DSL connection to browse the web using their browser and check his e-mail.

When I first began messing with computers a "hack" was punching an extra notch on the side of a 5.25" floppy so that you could use both sides...

lmao people still use AOL? How many free hours are they up to now?
I remember sneaking to use my dial up access in the middle of the night when no one was going to pick up the phone and hear that classic matrix sound

The point is, continueing with it is just going to make Lexus join back in, which is just going to create drama. Do we really know facts of what someone knew before hand and what they didn't? Maybe, maybe not. I can't remember what is fact from bullshit in this thread anymore. Frankly I don't care either. What's done is done and it's solely Toni's fault. Every single bit of it. FRS300, the victim, is less angry at Lexus than the mob here and that tells me at least some of it IS bullshit. So let's make this clear. Usage of this site is NOT a right. I'll ban whoever I feel is violating the rules set forth already in this thread. I'm probably the easiest going mod here on this stuff but I'm over it now.

Lol, if I said avoustic coupler 99% of the people would have said "wtf?" They can at least identify the cradle phrase from wargames (they should remake it).

Is FT86SpeedFactory the same or run by the same people as FA20Club? Just seems they both sell the exact same kits for roughly the same prices etc. Just don't want to get burned. -PB |
