Shocks/Struts to go with TRD Springs
I love my recently picked up FRS with TRD springs and sway bars. But the ride... well it can be a little jarring on Colorado roads. What shocks and struts would be good for commuting but wont give up on me during autocross?

I'm running Koni Yellows (adjustable) with TRD springs.
At about 25% damping the ride is similar to stock FRS dampers. I'm looking forward to increasing the damping for lapping come spring. |

I've had the TRD springs since new, and had a standard FR-S before this 86. The standard dampers always felt under damped in low speed damping with the uprated springs. High speed damping was ok at best. These Sachs have great low speed damping, but what I'm shocked with is the ride quality improved more than anything. The car is noticeably more damped, but still somehow smoother. That's quality I guess. |
