Assuming it is the Mocal plate like most use. It is 180F thermostat

Mocal Thermostatic Oil Sandwich Plate Service Kit | M-OTSP1-SK92
Options: Thermostat Temperature: 92°C Thermostat

Raises it to 197F helped a little bit when i swapped but not much.
A 100C or 212F would be perfect if you find one let me know.

From my understanding. They all have 10% flow no matter what and at about 30F below full open temp they start to open, so a 180F thermostat at 165F would have approximately 55% flow still.

But also the oem oil temp sensor is post cooler, so the deviation from pre and post temps will start to become greater beyond the 150F as your cooler is cooling more and more as the plate opens.

Well I did some asking around and couldn't find one warmer than 92C. I did come across a pdf that listed a high temp sandwich plate (SP1T-99) at 95C, but I couldn't find it for sale anywhere. https://irp-cdn.multiscreensite.com/...thermos%24.pdf

I went ahead and ordered the Tstat you listed, that combined with blocking off the coolers core should get me pretty close to 100C.

Thanks for the help!

EDIT: I found a website listing the 95C sandwich plate for sale. Its quite a bit more expensive though as it is the whole plate. https://www.lojkits.com/products/moc...nt=23456645126

I reached out to a few vendors offering higher thermostats with the mocal to see if they could sell just the thermostat, but had no luck. and i am not trying to buy an entire sandwich plate again.
