Why would you ever listen to a dude that has a physical hard time moving the automatic shifter out of park.
Well I wouldn’t consider him “dearest”, but yeah I agree

Curious to know as well, because the FR-S and BRZ do not have the qualities of the RC-F in that video, including the 2UR-GSE V8 that makes more than twice the horsepower of an FA20. If he's trying to justify the reason why the twins are naturally aspirated, he's doing an absolute piss-poor job.

So here, I'm just going to throw him a bone and hopefully /thread both this and that other thread (which was actually a good discussion sans Grant's ad hominems) and actually link something of EE's that relates to both this thread and the other one.

I've actually had both a FI twin and an NA twin. My FR-S had the Cosworth supercharger and my current BRZ is NA. Both have their pros and cons and I loved both. I think this car is great either way. The caveat being you don't go too bonkers with power and can accept the added responsibilities of FI. I guess Uncle Ben was right.

I'm so sorry about that. But at the same time an unexpected win at trolling.
Give him a chance. I recommend you take an edible then watch a few of his vids. It's like watching your grandpa ramble on. At lest that's my take.

I don't mind talking to people in person that ramble because i can interrupt their rambling to ask questions or be as annoying as they are.

But youtube is a one way street for their rambling.

Is that the "rev up your engines" guy? If so, I tried watching a couple of his videos since YouTube recommended it, and they made me cringe.

Yeah, I'll pass. I'd rather watch more of Engineeeing explained when he's actually explaining how things work.

I do plan on going FI (JRSC) down the road too, but before that, I want to really push myself with the car on the track as-is, with no modifications whatsoever. I want to see how fast I can go with the equipment I'm given, and then upgrade gradually from there.

So Grant somewhat had a point in his last thread; just the way he delivered it was completely wrong and off-putting. I disagree with his comment about modded cars being owned by idiots, though...
