Design me a full intake plenum with stacks! I will gladly buy one if it looks promising and test it.

In the pdf, where it says 45φ, pretty sure that's diameter in mm.

I'm still hoping for measurements because that can give us information about the runners/airflow tract.

For example, is the it tapered (doesn't look like it)? How smooth is the transition between the runners and the silicone connectors? Are there smooth entries to the runners inside the plenums of both brands?

Did they tell the truth about the TB diameter? Did they both measure in the same spot (at the TB butterfly)? How's the finish inside the runners?

Does the shape change from the 45/48mm round TB to the oval-ish intake port result in an increase or decrease in cross-sectional area? By how much? The more data, the better AFAIC.

So, win/win for measuring.

Can't wait for the data as this is a huge part of my planned build.

Not necessarily available but, the WELD FR-S had been running custom ITB's for a while. I'm posting as it may be useful in some way even if a bit light on specifications. I do believe it was removed as it was never correctly running.

So that meant throwing the cheap and nasty plastic intake manifold in the bin and fabricating a one-off crossed item from aluminium piping. Onto this Johnny bolted Toyota AE111 4A-GE mechanical throttle bodies with a set of billet velocity stacks. And check out the XSA RC wheel mounted onto the throttle shaft! 380cc/min injectors from a 1JZ were then mated to a pair of custom fuel rails. The whole set up is controlled by a Vi-Pec ECU, which Trust fitted and then tuned. This was actually the biggest headache of all, as the wiring and setting-up of the quad throttle conversion turned out to be a real nightmare. But Johnny and the guys got there in the end and the car sounds and feels impressive.

real R&D (and progress) is slow.

It'll be months before any concrete results are published.

it will be interesting to see what they offer. The sard one is being advertised for 3k on 86 worx. Can it really be worth that much money?

As cool as the idea is and as hopeful as I would be they would increase response, is this what the other kits are going to cost as well?

If these ITB's can get me to ~220 wheel hp with the Ace a350 and e85 I think it would be worth it for me and my car and I would certainly order it. I think that's going to be more power than can be had out of these but I also have unreasonably high hopes.

Agreed, I could see myself going ITB's in the future if this is the case

It'll cost as much as a SC with that type of setup, but the throttle response will absolutely be superior...
