Areddi's Autocross Video Thread

Figured I would start a thread with some links to my YouTube channel for the autocross videos I'll be compiling this year. Check um out, let me know what you think, and if you have any questions. Make sure to watch in HD!

Today was the first one for 2013, which was the Autocrossers Inc event down in Waldorf. Lesson learned is that the stock all-seasons are even worse gripping than I expected. They have to go soon for my ZII's.

I took Casey's advice when he told me to look a couple of turns ahead and not just what's next.

But great video Arredi. I might sign up someday. All depends on my schedule around each one.

Definitely man, if you're new I would be happy to help you out with pointers, ride alongs, and general details.

Very intense! Wish I had a stock/NA FRS for this! If I hadn't setup my car for the 1/4 mile, I'd be doing this (drag radials are coming in tomorrow). Maybe I'll whip out the WRX for an event.

I think You are mistaken

The car is setup just fine for you to come out and autox

I'd have to wait until I flexfuel the car for these events.. My car is now a dedicated e85 car. Driving all around, then tracking the car would kill my tank and my wallet. Also, I'd have to invest in a brake setup with how fast the car covers ground..

Idk, I think I'm satisfied with my hunt for the 1/4 mile record and would rather spend my time at a drag strip.

Nope and Nope. You are perfectly setup and won't have brake issues. All you need is a tank of e85 and you will be good to go.

Straight line gets old once you get the autoxing bite, trust us. Straight lined for years before really discovering autoxing. Changed my life

Awesome! Buy anyway, Kanundrum echos my exact thoughts. I like straight-line, but once I autocrossed I dunno if I can ever look back other than for a night or two to feel my massive high 14's car.

If you're going for THE record in the car though, good luck! It is a cool goal for sure. Need to get some nitrous!

Thanks for hopping in my car for the first two runs. Somewhere between the AM and PM runs, I figured out what you were saying about setting up for the top cone and I adjusted my line... good for a second or two off my time! Also started braking later in the PM runs.
