I think we all need to add as many OEM STI parts as we can, then take two months off, charter a boat to Japan for us and all of our BRZ's, then march (drift) over to STI HQ and demand on tS emblems.

That's what I think. I've researched and it'll cost about $8k from the U.S. to Japan. Start saving up guys!

Once we get our emblems we can then say that NOTHING is "impossible", tS emblem be damned!

Actually, in some seriousness, I BET you we could get SOA and Fuji Heavy to sponsor a group of American BRZ owners to travel to Subaru HQ in Japan, do a track meet and do a CluBRZ meet. They could make an amazing article out of the whole thing for their magazines and such.

Of course I'm single with no kids, so Japan sounds completely doable and amazing to me.

You forgot about the Gunma factory tour, track meet to watch the BRZ GT300 in action, and maybe ride shotgun with Tommi Makinen.

Of cuz once I walk into Mitaka Subaru I would be hugging all the STI displays upstairs and drool everywhere.

We'd definitely make a trip of it! Last year I was trying to contact Subaru to see how they'd feel about a write up of my taking an Alaskan BRZ across the country. I did come in contact with someone at SOA who was really nice and they pointed me in the right direction. Then I forgot about the idea and never contacted the correct person.

Anyways, there are real people at SOA and they're always open to ideas. I plan on taking a longer road trip when I move to Jersey next Spring. Then I might move to California a year or so after that. I'll see who's responsible for making dreams come true at SOA. I'd save up money for a trip to Japan if it were a group thing.

The dream would be to have all our cars there and get pictures taken with the greats! *ponders heavily at this prospect*

Ummm... yeah, that's pretty damn delicious.

For some reason I was thinking that swapping out gauge clusters meant having inaccurate digital displays, but now I'm think that they really are just digital displays for showing the numbers and don't actually store the mileage data and such. That would help with the speedometer read out.

If anyone else is thinking about tackling the replacement of the rings:

Except these all appear to be in chrome? I want it in black!

Found 'em... directly from the manufacturer. Durr...

Actually considering that tS cars are personally tested and tuned by sti's primary test driver, they're considered more so the "true" cars =). On that cover I see the legacy ts, forester ts, wrx STi ts, among others
