I should tell that to my subaru dealership mechanic who everytime brings up "You know there's a turbo version coming out, right?"

Yep. The starter is a motor, motors power the windows, etc.

Yep, and it's just easier to say "yes" than to explain "it's fast around corners".

Most people won't call your bluff anyway.

I just say no. When people really try to ask me questions I say I don't know I got it because it looks good and gets good fuel economy. Not worth my time to try and explain more than that.

the only car i've ever owned that i would say was fast when someone asked was my 04' STI. when i'm driving my s2000 or the FRS, my response is always NOPE, but its damn fun

yikes, the salesman literally told me "Oh, I don't need to tell you this, you young guys already know." He was right.

Many times people assume its AWD cuz I have a subaru.
Same with the turbo, because everyone knows about the WRX/STI. And after I tell them it's NA they always ask if I'm going to throw a turbo on. It's a default response for some people I guess.
I don't mind correcting people, it's pretty cool telling them how well it handles, and see the confused look on their face when they remember its RWD. Yes, I can eat you alive through the corner

I was going in to get my hair cut and there were a couple kids sitting on the steps. When I left they were still there and the one asked if it was supercharged. I just replied with "not yet".
