Sad Goodbye for awhile...

Hey guys. I know I'm not a huge poster, even though I have learned so much about our cars from all of you, but I have to say goodbye for a while. I am 38 and was recently diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer. I have been doing chemo and radiation treatments for the past 3 weeks and its kicking my ass. If you have time, and believe in God, I would appreciate your prayers and thoughts. I have 2 months of chemo/radiation treatments and then surgery where I will be out of commission for 3 or 4 weeks. Then after that, I have another 4 months of chemo/radiation. This is by no means and cry for help or anything like that. Just basically saying...if you are bored and want to email or talk about life, gaming, cars, or anything like that, I will be available. You can contact me thru PM or my tattoo/piercing email.
Its piercedtim@yahoo.com. If you want to have a fun google and search my name, I hold the guiness book of world records for most number of piercings done in one sitting and have done over 200 suspensions. If that's not your bag, that's cool too. I just know its going to suck being stuck in a bed for a month and have nothing to do.

Thank you for all the community has taught me, and I hope that I can fight thru this and make an awesome comeback and work on my car again. Sucks. I have 1100$ worth of cusco parts I haven't installed. and NO... im not selling the.

Cancer is never easy for anyone. You are too young to be going through this. I don't know you but will def keep you in my prayers. Hope for a fast and full recovery so you can enjoy those parts waiting to go on.

Well, you have colorectal cancer....the chemo and radiation SHOULD be kicking your ass...that's where the cancer is!

But seriously, good luck.

This isn't a goodbye, this is a see you later.
You beat that cancer, and you beat it fucking hard, like it owes you money. You prevail, and you come out the other side.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers, as well as my friends. I wish you nothing but the best, buddy. I hope you will be able to come back on this forum, showing off the mods on your baby. You're part of the family, and families stick together.

Good luck, man. Chemo and rad may be kicking your ass, but go kick cancer's ass for making you go through this.

We'll see you once you're back on your feet and cancer free.

Get better, man.

As a CT Tech, I help treat cancer patients on a Daily basis...

I have seen people with horrible diagnosis beat it because they stay positive and they fight!

And sadly, I have seen people with very treatable cancer die because they aren't aggressive and they don't fight...

"Kick Cancers ass and make it your bitch!"

An 83 year old woman told me that when I was in the military. If she can do that, so can you.

Also a little professional advice...

Look into getting a "Power Port".
http://www.bardaccess.com/port-powerport.php

It will make chemo a lot easier to administer AND you can get contrast dye (for MRI or CT) through your port and it will save you an IV start.

Eventually, the Chemo and radiation treatment is going to scar up your veins etc...

Good luck man and keep your chin up and be aggressive
