That is so confusing...because in video games its pull = upshift and push = downshift.
Well the theory is the g force you get when braking hard pushes you forward so you can downshift. Then when accelerating the G force pulls u back so u can up shift...

Dammm you Toyota . I would love to hear their theory on this.

I see a switch shift DIY for the auto 86 soon. Should be easy enough. It's all electrical.

Hey! I didn't think of it like that. Interesting...

Might be a problem for u AT guys if you spend 15k on brakes , and 10k on turbo/sc kit.
The g force will be too high and you will have to stick with the paddles or D only.

15k for brakes. Seriously.

I had the same issue with my Lexus F. Toms do a harness that reverses the movement (and even provide little stickers that match the original font) completely reversible so no cutting etc. I installed mine myself in 10 minutes in the Lexus.

I'd assume that Toms will do a kit for the 86/BRZ twins say around $80 which is what I paid for the kit in my car.

Problem solved (and the paddles remain the same as they were originally)

If minor swirling is only present it can easily be eliminated however it does take some time to do properly, allow for about 4 hours.

Dangerfields car had what we call buffer trails - where the previous detailer used a high speed machine and a heavy polish, and basically just went nuts on the car.

The frantic movement causes micro scratches and looks like holograms. These can be quite painful to remove completely.

This is why I had the dealer write into my contract that they would not detail the car. I want to remove the plastic myself, and then send the car your way Frank! =)

Hey Frank. Are you able to supply Optimum products such as the No Rinse Car wash solution or would we have to go through one of the OPT dealers? Thanks.

Hi Sticky, unfortunately I don't sell them as yet but I am planning to in the next couple of months. I need to try and find room in the Ute to stock them.

Email Joel (joel@zas.com.au) for all your Optimum needs and he will look after you. Tell him Frank sent 'ya!
