I've always thought this mule looked like a Subaru and only a Subaru. I don't really see anything that would make me believe this is a Toyota. Subie wheels, subie style steering wheel etc. Only thing missing is a small hood swoop which I hope they keep off.

That's how I've always felt. The bulbous lighting doesn't really keep in line with the angular headlights and Taillights that we've seen on every one of the Toyota concepts. Still, at this stage it hardly matters which version it is since they only need to test one of them and then make cosmetic changes for the production versions.

The front is basically copy-pasted from the Impreza Design Concept. I doubt it will have an upper grill like that, and the headlights probably won't look like that either. But I do agree that it looks great.

i'd believe in a supercharged scion before a turboed scion. TRD uses sc kits. the GS-F is rumored to be a sc V8. a sc on a flat 4 would be super easy.

still, i find it interesting that the rumors persist on a higher end, faster version of the FT. it may happen, who knows...

That chromed out grill needs to go back to the Forester (or where ever it came from) and off the BRZ. It really fuglies an otherwise pretty car up.
