I was so jealous of you guys, I'm extra determined to make the next one. Might be too early, but what are we looking at, next sat morning?

I'm not 100% sure I can do a drive next Sat... since I'm heading to Laguna Seca on Sunday I will need to put my race pads on, get ready etc. Might still be able to do it. The following Sat after that I can. But certainly the show must go on even without me! Well if it ends up being SF/Pacifica, perhaps some of the SF guys can plan the meeting spot/route and pick the date? @SC David @overlookedx @Bach415 ? I'd be perfectly happy if we did the same route as before too.

I *may* not be able to make it next weekend either, so I best stay out of the planning phase, but will join if at all possible. Saturday will be better than Sunday for me, but I'd need to be done and home by about 10am.

Why don't we do SF/Pacifica/That new tunnel to Skyline/Alice/84? Might not be able to make it but I'll see. There's a week worth of time to plan for this. If anything we can just skip this Saturdays drive and make it next Saturday. :P

Out in the city of Georgetown starts a real nice drive through BLM land. Main Street turn into Wentworth Springs Road...very scenic but not to twisty. Drive on that about an hour and then you trun Right on Ice House Road and then it gets twisty. Super clean road and not too much traffice right now as not too many people are camping. Stay on Ice House for 1.5 hours and it drops you off on 50 about 23 miles from Tahoe. Did this drive a few weeks ago and saw a dozen cars at most. Highly recommend this road.

Nice, that actually would help satisfy the top 2 voted routes on the poll. Yes, if most people can't do it on the 18th, we can certainly just aim for the 25th.

Let's just hope either of those days are sunny. It would suck a lot just to go for a cruise and all you can see is fog/mist up in Devils' slide tunnel/Woodside

Voted! I'm down for a Pacifica, HWY 1 drive and skyline combo on the 18th.

@PMok maybe we should do a poll regarding which dates to do it, the 18th or the 25th. It may make it easier to decide.

Seems like the 25th will be easier for everyone. Also gives us time to start a thread, let people plan for it, and it won't interfere with the Laguna Seca track day that a few people are doing.

We can do a shorter drive this weekend if people are looking for something? But let's plan a bigger drive for the 25th like the last Highway 1 drive.

I think Chris is right... let's make it the 25th then so people have more notice and we can plan.
