Raven FRS

Hello,

I have a raven FRS and was wondering what is the best way to take care of her. What are the benefits of opticoat? What exactly is it anyways? I know waxing is a good thing. Also my mom last night was trying to "show" me how dirty the car was and while wiping her hand over the hood, her wedding ring touched the paint and left a decently long scratch that can only be seen in certain light angles, I kept it cool and didn't want to say anything to not make her feel bad. I did let her know about it but just laughed it off. I was crying on the inside. Whats the best way to get something like this off?

I would try to wax and buff to see if you can get it out on your own. I looked into getting option coat for my FR-S. But, for $500 I want it to last for a long time. Some reviews on here say theirs only lasted 8 months to a year.

If that is so then it was either applied incorrectly, or wasn't opt-coat! Opti-Coat lasts.

You have a raven frs, everybody you know is going to scratch it, i swear everyone that i give a ride to wipes their hand across the cf dash piece, i just got over it, i realize 99% of people i know are not car people.

2 bucket method
Separate rag for wheels
Wash in the shade
Clean up after dirty friends....lol

Mike is in So Cal. I'm looking to get it done as well and it seems like he is the most experienced person for our cars. He has done 70+ FRS/BRZ so far the last I heard.

Always research as much as possible before making a decision this big. Tuan is well known and respected in the detailing community, as are Greg and Drew who are recommending him. This community is small, and reputations take forever to build but only one mistake to ruin. It's your choice who you call but at least make sure it's an informed decision.
