Anybody have any bad stories from FT86Motorsports?

I’ve been waiting over two months for a “special order item” which should only take 10-15 business days.

I finally reached out to them and they informed me it’s on backorder... ordered back in February and still waiting. They refuse to refund my order or do anything for me at all.

yeah it's normal. There's nothing they can do if the vendor doesn't provide. On average, I wait 1-2 months for every order.

Well that makes me feel better about my order I guess, just disappointed. I’ve never had this issue anywhere else. And usually when there is an issue I don’t have to chase them down for an answer...

Thanks for the heads up!

Same experience here, I tend to try to forget about my orders and then when they show up it's like Christmas and My birthday any day of year lol. They are a pretty big vendor for Canada (they also run the Subiedepot I believe its called) pretty decent service and have always replaced an incorrect item. But as StraighOuttaCanadaEh mentioned try messaging them on facebook.

Yeah I just got informed my order was back ordered, even though the website promises 10-15 days until shipped on all the items I ordered, when I could EASILY go buy all this stuff from ft86speedfactory, and have it delivered by mid next week..

Almost all of my orders have taken between 15-21 days. I was concerned with the first one being late never having dealt with them. I contacted them, received a prompt response and I had my goods a week later. I think I've placed 5 orders now and all have come in good shape with the correct parts. You have to wait a bit but I'm in no rush.

That's been my experience with them and based on that can't give them anything less than 5/5.

I wouldn't order from them again. Customer service is abysmal.

Damn, just ordered a set of camber plates from them last week. Should have checked this post before the purchase.

I've always had good service from them, but honestly the whole "you order from them so they order from someone else and wait to receive it and then ship it out to you" thing is just getting too tiring. On top of that, the "in stock" tab stopped working recently so you have no idea what's in stock and what isn't. As much as I like them and their prices, I'll look into getting stuff elsewhere next time.

Naw.

When you ask a simple yes or no question and get told "nice try, you're being too aggressive", you've absolutely lost my business and anyone I know that is interested in buying parts, and anyone I may stumble across that mentions their name.

Their prices aren't more than a guideline for me, a little shopping around has shown that people are either willing to beat their prices easily, or already have a lower price.

Example of this recently, bought 720 Form GTF1 wheels from a local shop 5 minutes from my house 200$ cheaper than FT86motorsport, free shipping, and arrived in 2 days. Their customer service was also vastly superior.

I back this up completely. I use their site to compare prices and that’s it now, they won’t be getting anymore business from me.

Not because how long it takes to receive products, but because their customer service is some of the worst I’ve encountered in the aftermarket world...

We have tons of shops in our area too that can order all the same stuff, just gotta ask them about it. Hell, even the wheel and tire shop I went to, asked them if they knew any shops I could get some other parts and dude was like "we can just get it for you"...

Don't mess with Millennial's and customer service.
