3rd option to compare costs is to see how much an independent shop would charge to do maintenance on your car. Just bring your service manual and ask them to give you a quote for the items listed on there.

That might be the only recourse I have. problem is it is not just me, but a lot of owners that all have the same problems.

Replacing the spark plugs at 60k miles is what has me worried. Following their (the dealership's) replacement manual, they have to actually take the engine out of the car to replace the plugs. Not sure I trust them to get it back in right.

You can look into changing the plugs yourself, but remember

Right. I trust the dealership more than myself to do this, plus if they screw it up, I don't have to pay for it.
