Looking good man keep up the good work. You have some determination to do all that bodywork, should yield a clean finish.

325 Slicks square FWIW. on 18x11 square. It's my dream set-up. Requires a lot of triple checking and body modification.

Not a fan of the wheels either but I love how his 86 sits and the meaty tires!

I not huge on the front bumper (MP Speed) but it is unique. I do like the rear bumper though... I actually tried to get one... hard to track down... I'm happy with going custom on the rear though.

You could probably replicate that rear bumper pretty easy with some body work skills

I thought about creating similar openings on my rear bumper... even did the research... as of right now I don't think I'll do it though... we'll see... my process is fluid.

Update:

So I went backwards a bit because I didn't realize I had the rear corner of the passenger overfender a tad misaligned. All my sanding to that point had been done to fit it in the position I had it. After proper fitment, I added some more fiberglass in places that didn't coincide previously and sanded some spots that needed to be brought down or shaped. I now have it properly aligned through out.

I'm thinking I'll finally be tinkering with the latching mechanism Wednesday. Once that is done, I'll prep the fender for paint.

I can't wait to have the whole kit fitted so I can start molding!

So I recently came up with the idea to do this modification... I love the look of the Varis wide body fenders so I wanted to implement a similar design with my fenders and garnishes.

I'm really looking to make my wide body install stand out from others like it... whether replica or authentic. This mod is just another way of accomplishing that goal.

Anyway, I used a semi hard foam to sculpt the portion that finishes off the shape. I used 3M tape to protect my part and the foam. I'm ordering the required materials to make an initial mold. I will then perfect the initial mold and remake my mold. If they turn out... I may make more...

By the way, the plan is to mold these to the fenders....

I may cut the opening on the inside out so that the fender is the cutoff point for the opening of the garnish...
