Hey guys I'm going to be #757. Picking up the car tomorrow.
Fyi, first post. Just a question though. Does anyone know if the stock rims use a conical, acorn style, or mag style lug nuts. I know Toyota's usually use mag style lug nuts, but for some reason I don't think our cars use mag style lug nuts. Some please confirm. Thanks, Phu. 20190507_184631 by Phu Vong, on Flickr |

Bought Tesla, selling RS 2.0
Wish I could keep both, but the FRS has to go. I bought it new three years ago and it has been garaged ever since. The automatic is great on these mountain roads and interstate highways. Email me at wbullivant at gmail.com if interested. Located in western NC.

Gotta say that getting an RS was a good move. The upgraded interior and trendy color are enough for girls to assume it is an expensive car.

First post, just bought #725. 23k miles, but 3(!) previous owners from NV to CA to WA. Curious if there is actually more demand/price premium for the RS2 over a comparably equipped FR-S/BRZ, will probably only keep it a year or so. Thoughts?

If it was a RS2 vs. a '17 BRZ PP , same/similar condition and milage , same transmission , they're probably pretty evenly priced ( with in $500 or so).
There are enough differences between the two models above though. PP BRZ has better brakes / suspension , however RS2 has better lighting, two extra exterior bits, a bit better interior, better wheels, and a unique color. *Automatics stayed the same engine wise for all years FRS/BRZ, but '17+ manuals did get a bit of a engine bump up . So technically a manual BRZ PP may get more then a RS2 , and surely a '18+ should get more value. Demand is subjective, things change week to week, month to month.

I was looking and making offers for awhile before getting one. They seem to go for about $2-3k more than a non RS. They look like they cost $10k more. |

The exterior color, combined with the interior package is what makes it look distinctly different. Subaru also did it for their Cross-trek model ( similar shade, but not exact) I believe '16-17 … but that's it. It's pretty specific to Subaru /RS2.
I like the metallic orange FR-S color as well, proper color for the car, but then now I see other manufactures doing the same (very similar) color ( I saw a 2-series BMW today with that color). I believe Corvette , and possibly certain Honda's (Civic) share that color ? If Scion or Subaru would have offered a true /natural white exterior color , I may have bought that instead ( I don't like pearl whites, in general) , and I didn't want to go down the dark color base (Red, black, dark blues) exterior color high maintenance program…. and higher interior temperatures.

I'm the new #347.
Drove her home in the rain yesterday and quickly found out the cushioned part of the arm rest on center console (not sure what the material is?) does not like to get wet -- it got all flakey and gross. Are these rims bigger than the standard FRS? Still looks like the same size stock tire though.. Anyone rec going up on tire size if so to accommodate? |

Also, my arm rest is fine.
So I'm guessing what you have there is 3 years worth of dead skin and body oils. |
