Admittedly this is one of my favorite combos as well. There are a handful of other exhausts that do not require spacers but the tips and the subtle appearance of the Perrin are quite nice with the rear diffuser. The TRD exhaust goes well with the diffuser as well IMO, but spacers are needed.

Alrighty then... just purchased the blemished discounted one from the website... even though I'm getting ready to sell my FR-S. Can't help it, always wanted a ducktail on it as it was the one visual piece missing that would complete the overall shape as a whole, but I never liked any of the ones available... until the Verus unit. Will paint match it black with the few other body/aero pieces I've put on. This will also make me finally do the finishing cutting on my custom center exit exhaust tip. The only other thing I would like to do is the custom diffusor I always wanted to make... but doubt I'll spend the time to do it. It took me from 2013 until last week to finally mod the passenger side strut brace for OEM looking bracket welded to it for the Radium Oil catch can... LOL

Installing the Ducktail spoiler on my 2017, along with the high efficiency wing. Both were an easy install finished most everything up in a couple of hours. Just need to do some final tweaking and then final installation.

Finished everything up last night. The installation of everything is easy. I did not remove the trunk. Just spent a little more time measuring to ensure the drilling template was placed correct. For me on the ducktail I am not sure on keeping it black. I may seal around it and color match it at some point.

Alrighty.... have it on! I prepped the spoiler by sanding down the front edge to be less square, more beveled/rounded and sealed the new leading edge with Hysol epoxy. Painted Rustoleum satin black, clear coated, and turtlewaxed 10 minutes after last clearcoat layer is dry (found that technique works well) .... I'll take better pictures later, but this is what I have now:
