Someone has got my email address from the forum. That address should only be visible to the moderators.

On the 7th of April I received a Reply to thread email written in Russian. It has a heap of links.
I did not click any links because I was suspicious. Instead I went to our forum and searched for the poster "LimShosy" and cannot find him. I also went to the thread and see nothing.
My forum name is notout86 and that is correct as shown in the message.
I am posting this on the forum as I have already notified the forum moderators of my concern on the eighth and again on the twelfth and had no replies.That is over a week now so I am very surprised and disappointed.

Below the line is a SAFE copy of the message that I have inactivated all links by changing all the "//"s and "@"s to x . If any forum members have info. I have subscribed to this new thread.

That is beyond my knowledge. My email address is used as part of the login process sometimes but not for the FT86 Club.com site.

That looks like the standard email notice for postings on a subscribed thread to me. The content is from a spammer that posted on that thread and the normal message was sent out. The email address would be internal to the forum and the spammer did not have access to it.

^^^ This; That email is the standard notice and the post in your thread was deleted before you had a chance to go view the message. You were not being emailed directly by the spammer, only the forum was emailing you.

I am pretty sure that someone actually posted in that thread with all that shit and the post was deleted, either by the poster, an admin, or any spam prevention shit we might have on the forum. The links seem legit. Of course they could have the legit link as the text and the actual link being something different. What email address did the email come from?
