Somewhat late response, but don't worry. You're already better off than like half the owners in the community who are kids without jobs and somehow afford the car.

I actually found an amazing deal on Amazon. I think someone underpriced the mats, I got motortech all weather floor mats that mimic the weathertech, for $28! I used the back seat mats for the trunk and it works! 1/10th the cost!

To the op: a close friend of mine is in the pd. He does it in a 98 civic hatch. Fold the seats down and lay a blanket over the back. Call it good and drive really fast (safely and legally of course blah blah blah). You're getting paid to drive, and you picked a great car for it. Oh and give your friends free pizza. You'll be loved forever.

I delivered in my 86 for a couple of months. I loved working in it but I didnt like racking up miles and constantly working the window opening and closing doors. So i bought a trash car

@iconic Make yourself a rack that fits in the back and holds things securely so you can drive hard and make more $$. I did it 30+ years ago in a variety of vehicles and the right rack makes your life way better. Food doesn't weigh squat so you can use pretty lightweight and cheap lumber. Your trunk solenoid is gonna get a workout
