Assuming you have the factory fit downpipe, the header will probably fit the stock overpipe with the proper gasket.

That's what I'm guessing, but I bet Nameless could make an overpipe piece as well, even though that's adding an extra flange over the single piece unit, it might be worth it...

I'm sure they could. It is their product and they stand behind it. Going by their customer service, I would think they would go out of their way to make it work for you.

Maybe I just have selective reading because I want one. Kind of like seeing a car a lot when you buy one but never seeing it before you had it.

If the performance is similar, I prefer the UEL, but I have yet to see otherwise a massive difference between a TUNED EL vs UEL. No tests yet.

For the Borla the UEL made just as much/more
Not saying Nameless is necessarily the same, just pointing out its possible

Oh I totally agree, I hope it is possible. I'm a sound guy myself with exhaust. Last night I went for a walk with my dogs and I heard a mustang pull out and miss third gear when pulling onto the frontage road If your car sounds like crap, I'm typically the person that makes a comment about it.

UEL provides the rumble or burble if you call it that I am looking for. If the engine responds the same, untuned or tuned with the UEL, I will certainly prefer it over EL.

Both Borla designs are UEL.

I actually prefer the sound of equal length. Gives more of a smooth exotic sound and I like that. Makes it feel racier to me. The fact that it just makes sense to me that it should perform better just makes the decision that much easier.

Just curious, why do you care about a Cat in FL? (unless you removed the secondary Cat in which case I would understand you don't want your daughter to run completely Catless)

Could be for autoX. He also may be trying to slow the inevitable destruction of the planet.

^ this. I had a subaru, I still hang with all my local subie friends .. and to be honest UEL matches those cars. IT DOES NOT match the personality of the FRS/BRZ imho. It sounds like a Harley and a Honda got it on and that's what came out the other side.

People are going to do what they want to do regardless of whether its going to give them actual gains or not. UEL headers are nothing more than oem compromise for cost and ease of mounting in a tight space.

Why pay performance $$ for another compromise?
