Wow! Worked great, car has a bit more spunk now! Launch control worked great, not enough space to try FFS, better exhaust note, sad that I did no do this sooner! Next weekend Vortech kit will be installed if the plug and play harness arrives by then.
Thanks John and Rich!:happy0180:

I had quite a bit of fun with the new tune today as well, even with the pedal lag. I can't wait to get the flexfuel kit that I ordered!

You just got this tune and have a Vortech coming next weekend?!? I'm seething jealously right now! Have fun!

I have a few questions on tunning. Its my first time and i plan on buy the stage 2 tune when i get back from LA next week.
1.) Do all these maps come with the tune?
2.) I heard you can only tune with windows xp, is this true?
3.) If I tune my car now with what i have on it and then I choose to get a new intake, exhaust or other performance part would i have to re-tune it?

Just go to Youtube and type in Visconti tuning. He has his own channel on there.

This is his channel.

And this is the video you're looking for. The newest tune uses the tach instead of the check engine light though.

Good news everyone..

Have a updated Pumpgas and ethanol tune for everyone

This new version of my tune just takes everything to the next level.

Please don't put in any tune request updates.

I hope to get caught up this weekend - if I do I'll announce the update on here and in my ticket system

I think everyone will be impressed.

Just so I have a better understanding of how this works, I have both Pump and E85 tunes. I have collected data a few times and received a final update for the pump gas. I have not done so for my E85 tune yet. 2 month old baby has and losing my job has put a huge damper on my drive time. So:

A) When I get the new pump gas tune, will I need to collect data again? Or is everything transferred over to the new tune.

B) I had planned on collecting some data on the E85 tune this weekend. Should I wait?

Thanks

Whenever I get a new re-flash, I assume it's the base file for that particular configuration (local market, transmission, intake, fuel, FI/NA). So I give it a few days, run some logs, send it in, and see if I get any tweaks back. The last couple of times I sent in logs, no further tweaks were necessary. I suspect the tunes are getting refined enough that unless you change some in the equation like your intake, the latest flash files are pretty well-refined.

I'd wait on sending new logs until after you get the new file John's working on.

Can you give us an idea as to what kind of changes we can expect?

Fuel Economy?
HP?
Torque dip?
