Wierd Electrical issue - no windows + no trunk after battery replacement

Hello.

I just swapped my OEM battery into my 2013 Scion FRS in place of my lightweight battery so I can store the lightweight one in a heated environment on a trickle charger for the winter.

Now my windows do not move when I open or close the doors and my trunk does not work with my key fob or interior button. (I checked the disable button in the trunk.)

The only other thing I have done since everything was working is I have removed the carpet and seats to install my new fixed back seats.

Any ideas?

sounds like a dead battery, have you tried trouble shooting? using your old battery? then using a multimeter to check the new battery, etc?

try charging your new battery first?

Like @Lorico mentioned ...... first make sure the battery is up to speed.

Then, I suggest you check the fuses.

The battery is fine. The car starts and everything else works as usual. I had 12.5 volts with my multi meter. I checked a few fuses under the hood and under the dash with no luck.

Where did you unhook all the wiring for the seats? Wouldn't think it would be related but the fact they stopped after doing that seems a bit more than a coincidence.

Just the two connections from under the seats.

Well that should rule that out then.

Won't help with the trunk release but have you tried doing the window reset?

Embarrassingly no. It was late and I was on my way out of my shop when I realized the issue and just figured it must all be related. Troubleshooting rule number 1: never assume. I will do that tonight.
