TE37s are great, and I love them, but not in the high offsets you have to run on an S2000 or most Hondas. I have owned my fair share of Volks, and I love the quality and they are worth every penny, but for a track car, I prefer lighter cheaper wheels so I can own multiple sets. I own three sets of 15x7 13 lb Kosei K1s for my SpecE30, and I really want to pick up a 4th set. I will probably end up with three sets of wheels for the S2000 in the end as I will have older Hoosier A7s on one set for early sessions or really hot sessions and then switch to the sticker/newer Hoosier A7s when conditions are right to set my fastest lap time of the day.

Haha. So I wanted to autox my street E30 in the GS or GStock class which means you have to keep the OEM wheel size essentially which is a 14x6 or 14x6.5. Let's just say that the days of the high performance 14" tire have passed. I had really only one choice that was anything close to sticky which was the Falken Azenis 615, and I think I got one of the last sets made, haha. I remember catching flack from the purists when I put 16" wheels on my Honda Civic hatch.

Great info in this post. I was not aware that there was that much weight disparity between the Rota, XXR, and Weds wheels.

15" wheels still look sick. I prefer them still.

The M3 needs 17s (brake size). The BRZ I'd do 16s if I had good tire size options.. but...

I love the way the 205/50/15s sit on my 15x7 Kosei K1s:

I went through a similar dilemma. Bought Rota 17x9 titans instead of tc105s. Glad I did, bought 2 sets, was still able to afford tires and was lighter than stock. Meet my goal.
