let me restate this comment i posted in another thread:

I would rather have the freedom to express myself than to have my freedom taken away, let me decide what i can and cant do. if people get offended thats their problem.
The same can be said for car modification, if someone doesnt like the spoiler i put on my car then why should i care what others think? its my way of expression.

people were offended when a black women sat in the front of a bus, it caused controversy but eventually she won. do we not learn or do we continue mistakes from the past?

The rumour stage sucks. Confirmed would be better. Let guys start planning to look for new jobs or retrain. Last time it was 3 weeks of rumours for a 2 day (seriously, why even bother?) layoff.

Stuff like this is why I always planned on being a later buyer for the car. Could be a chance for positive change, too if I get cut because there are gov't retraining programs. (Guess the gov't's not always bad.)

How's the other means of transport around there? If they suck, I'm sorry

Over here, really really hoping I can snatch a used BRZ when I graduate, seeing how the oldest ones will only be 2-3 years old then, dunno how much of the sticker price that knocks off :/ If I go to graduate school, I'll have to be very very stingy.

Yeah but it's a car forum. They're not trying to limit your free speech, just trying to keep things on topic. I like this thread because it gives people a bit of a chance to express themselves without cluttering up the rest of the site.
