As nice as it would be, I wouldn't have enough balls to bake my headlights. I hear the BRZ headlights are super expensive. If the dealership could upgrade the LED, then I'd go for it. If I gotta put my headlights in the oven, forget about it!

Part of me wonders if the boomerang application in the BRZ was more of a shoe-horn effort this time around, trying to make do with the space they had (GT86 dimensions) while still implementing this new design of theirs.
I have yet to see one in person, but the new Foresters have what I refer to as "obnoxious boomerangs." Thicker bands and what appears to be more light output. Yes, I know this is a dusk picture, but maybe you get the idea. Some spy shots with the new WRX seem to show these giant boomerangs as well. Maybe the BRZ refresh will see it incorporated better when Subaru has their "entire" own design/engineering thrown in. |

I was thinking this morning how I'd like to wire the DRL's to the boomerangs and remove the DRL's from the bumper. Probably wouldn't be too hard to do.

I believe this is the thread you're looking for:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56785 And the boomerangs' dim output is simply because there is a resistor. Just adjust it, but take a look at the thread first |
