It's only been shown at 3 shows so far -- Tokyo Motor Show, Tokyo Auto Salon, and an Indian auto show. |

Really one in India is there any pics?
That is weird you would think that they would go to the major markets first, i really hope they will come to the sydney show. |

i don't think anyone knows the exact auto shows as the car seems to pop up willy nilly these days, but the shows it was at this year will almost likely be shown again next year.

It looks like they are showing in Japan, Asia & Europe only...
I also find it strange that none of the Toyota websites worldwide even show it in their concept sections... what's up with that? They have the FT-HS, the FT-CH, etc... but no FT-86 yet! are they keeping it a secret? (I guess that is why they showed it in Tokyo and are already showing the G Sport version...lol) Maybe all their budget will be going towards throttlegate... |

Well it certainly isn't at the Washington DC auto show, in fact I went and asked the Subaru reps there if they had any specs on it. All three were like what, what car is that? Each one was like I never heard of that, do you mean the hybrid car we are building with Toyota. I was like no this is not a hybrid. Amazing, the one lady came up to me after my wife and I left and was like where did you hear about this car, I was like I heard on Toyota's website but it is all over the Internet. LOL.

A lot of the people at car shows representing the cars are not part of the auto company. Most are hired representatives through marketing agencies. There are even schools where you can major in automotive marketing. So most infact only know what they are given in their press releases for the cars actually shown on the floor.
