No, I decided to just keep the OEM rims since they have really grown on me and want to keep the car very close to stock regarding exterior and interior. Just want to get 5mm spacer for the rear to line up with the front wheels since the rear wheels are 5mm more inward than than the fronts.

Like your 370, I think these cars looks perfect stock.

So just concentrating on exhaust, engine & suspension modifications.

Just remembered, no spacer for me. Forgot they were illegal haha. So guess it's staying as is.

Just will lower the car with STI pinks in the future.

Yeh, the stock wheels were starting to grow on me, unfortunately just as I sold them. The BRZ spoiler on the other hand...
I love seeing some cars bone stock on the road, like the second generation DC5 Type S or ITR.

Seeing a Type S stock...greet the owner and buy him or her a coffee for keeping it stock haha

Just something special about stock looking cars. Like even today...seeing a truly stock R32, Supra, S15, RX-7...etc.....so damn rare and special!

By the way I saw a orange (Hot Lava) 86 yesterday in North York at night and it just looked so good! These cars really match the city landscapes well.

Who said they were illegal? I am not saying they are or aren't since I don't know but I have never heard that before.


Edit: Never mind I found info. So they are.


But...


Like the author of the article says they are illegal at the time of an inspection but you only have to have the car fully inspected when you sell it so throw the spacers on if you want them.

I just checked out the price of the new Toyota 86. It's almost as expensive as the BRZ Sportech w/o all the gadgets. That's crazy.
