My only issue is that WRB just isn't a classic enough color to do something classic. I think the first WRX with WRB was in the mid 90's in Japan based off the first real Subaru rally car, the Legacy RS!

I'll let you be the judge ! Although, not exactly the same wheel... TRD never ended up releasing those 15 x 7.5 wheels so I had to look elsewhere for the look I wanted. If they ever release them I am putting down a pre-order that's for sure. Hopefully they can come up with something in 16's at least.

Nice look! I know the thread is about 15s but I still need to ask, are those 15s? The reason I ask is because I thought I read in another thread that 15s would not clear the brakes.
Thanks

Weren't there veeery few but 15" that cleared our brakes? Wheel directory lists only one (VW AVUS 15x6.0 +38) that fits, and two 15x6.5 that didn't, but still, shows that it's possible, if wheel is designed right way. After all, we have many parts from subaru partsbin, and rallyish 15" on WRX shouldn't be rarity?

It's a moot issue because Rota has discontinued these wheels. I was on the verge of getting one of the last sets made from WheelDude, but the 19pound weight plus the unavailability of replacements made the whole deal a little less appealing than I wanted. Plus, +42 with a 9" wheel is cutting it a little close unless you have coilovers, especially if you want a little camber. I absolutely LOVE the look though.

I have these Rota RKR for sale, not the same as those TRD style but still an old school looking wheel if anybody is interested.

From what I understand they are limited and production is very, very low..Rota Philippines has created a few sets last summer and also Toyota special ordered 2 sets for two of their 86 retro liveries for last year's Gopdwood festival of speed in England. They had them made in different finishes too (jealous). Either way they're hard to obtain it seems...mine were pre-owned.
