I think your map is a good middle ground between standard and sport as it is. If we can get the low RPM, high load scenario figured out, you'll probably be able to extend prespool down lower in the RPM range.

Working on the procede map currently. Also I really like my new map on e85. Going to try to keep the performance the same while implementing safety features.

@Shiv@Openflash, I am having trouble connecting my laptop to the PROcede controller for some reason. I am using Windows 7 on my Macbook. I have all the wires tapped except the black audio switch (not sure if that matters).

When I connect it to my computer, it detects the controller as a device, but I cannot make it go online on the procede software. The only difference I see between my laptop and the readme is that the device USB is named "CP210x" instead of "2P210x".

When I change the COMM SETUP to COM3 and click on Go Online/Offline, nothing happens.

It's not giving me an error, just nothing. This is different from when I try another port. I.e., when I change the setup to COM1 and click Go Online/Offline, it'll give me an error that says "Unable to open COM1".

The software will not connect to the Procede unless the ignition is on.

The ignition was on when I was trying to connect to it.

I have one of the very early kits, my throttle switch doesn't have a 3.5mm jack, its just a straight wire all the way to the controller. So I just cut the wire, cut the jack off the Procede harness and connected the wires. But the ESC wire actually has two conductors, the inner red wire (on mine anyways) and the outer shield wire. I had connected to the red wire, but it wanted to be connected to the shield wire.

What really threw me off was the first post in this thread explicitly says the yellow cell should move if the throttle is tapped correctly, but my yellow cell (still) never moves. There is a blue cell that moves around. @Shiv@Openflash you might want to update that.
I'm fighting with this as well. All previous quotes/instructions were not quite clear.

There is a SINGLE wire running to the foot switch. There are TWO wires running to the LED/power switch box. Robs instructions say to test the two wires going to the micro switch but that makes it sound like the foot switch.

I need to cut off the 3.5mm jack off the proceed harness, and I need to tap it to something.

Also, the procede box I got, the wires were of such lengths that the unit should be on the DRIVER's side (short power and ground) with 2 loooong wires going to the ECU taps, and the 3.5mm jack soon to be cut off and spliced into ... something.

I didn't realise I was posting in 2 diff threads (mainly in the ESC thread)

All installed, on the drivers side, with the foot switch center/red wire soldered to the now-removed 3.5mm plug wire on the procede side.

Going to try Sojhinn's map and report back tomorrow.

Snag rev 2. I added a few safety features... Few posts back.

My foot switch center wire is white. I still need to find a multimeter to test which one I need to tap from the WOT switch conductors.

I had already cut the switch, so I just tried both (one at a time) turned the car on and saw which one made the volts drop while rev'ing it.

Haven't had an opportunity to test it yet. I'm still getting a feel for the standard map which I now think could activate a bit earlier. I'll try the new map soon.
