Well, hello @RichardsFRS .........

How about trying the "med approach" ..... the humfrz favorite ......

I suggest you take 2 large glucosamine and 2 aspirin in the morning with two large glasses of water.

In the evening, take 2 glucosamine tablets and two large glasses of water.

See if that helps.

After a week of doing that, report back, if your symptoms haven't gone away.

Even @humfrz is trolling?

I've seen it all.

I'll have you know that I AM NOT ..... trolling! .......

Well, maybe just a little ....... the secret to my med regime is in …… the water, ...... the pills are mainly just to encourage the "patient" to drink more water .....

What if the patient had more sex? He already exercises. And the water consumption has already been suggested.

After reading many, many threads about much, much younger guys complaining about this that or the other ailments they have I have come to the conclusion that many (most?) of the old timers here would stand a better than even chance with the young guys.
Not joking, the "I Can't Get In and Out of My Car" thread was just sad to read.
Must be something in the psyche of us older guys that still are part of the "car scene" that also tends to keep us more prone to staying fit(ish) for our age. It also seems that there is a disproportionate number of us that are retried military which may also play into it.
Either that or we just don't complain as much.

That's one if the complaints I've seen about "stance cars", that you can't get in and out easily. My car is low, as low as I can go without rubbing and it is interesting trying to get in and out being as tall as I am and the seats as far back and as low as they are... But if I wanted something easy to get into, I would have gotten a minivan. You gotta pay to play. If you want a race car, it's not going to be easy to get into, simple as that. I don't complain to the interwebz about my car being "too difficult" to use

@RichardsFRS
Another option is to change the clutch master cylinder to a different one for more leverage/less effort. I forget smaller or bigger.

You can also adjust the clutch so it grabs higher(or lower) so you only have to push the clutch pedal halfway to operate it.

Is it the left or right side of the back of the knee? Sometimes if your toe is pointed too left or too right, it can cause problems on that side of the knee.

Is your foot rested on the floor or in the air when depressing the clutch? Resting your foot on the ground could help.
Also raising the seat so you are pushing down rather than forward may help.
