Ohlins.

And max negative camber is completely up to you, as you can run an aftermarket FLCA and go crazy on camber.

If you want to race, you should actually question what is allowed in the series. Many race series place restrictions on what you can do. Example would be the Pirelli World Challenge sanctioned by SCCA Pro Racing:

http://www.world-challenge.com/image...WCRuleBook.pdf
Quote:
2.3.7: SUSPENSION AND STEERING
2.3.7.1: Shock absorbers or struts may be replaced with the
following limitations. Shocks or Struts must be mounted in the stock
location using the stock method of attachment. Shocks or struts may
consist of one per wheel with only one remote reservoir per shock. A
MAXIMUM of 4 way adjusters are allowed and is the only adjustment
permitted. No driver adjustment permitted. FIA GT3 cars must follow
2.2.9.1
No electronic , hydraulic or pneumatic connection between any shock
or strut is permitted. J style or inerter technology is prohibited.
2.3.7.2: Camber plates may be added on axles equipped with a
MacPherson Strut suspension.
2.3.7.3: Ferrous Suspension springs may be replaced. Ferrous
Springs must be installed in the stock location using the stock system
of attachment.
2.3.7.4: Front and rear stabilizer bars may be replaced with any
bars that attach to the stock attachment points. Driver adjustable
stabilizer bars are not permitted within reach of the driver.
2.3.7.5: Suspension bushings may be replaced with bushings of
alternate materials, (however, spherical ball joints are not allowed in
TC, TCB, TCA), provided the stock dimensions are retained.
Replacement bushings must not alter the location of any component.

2.3.7.6: The steering wheel is unrestricted, provided it is not
wood-rimmed.
2.3.7.7: An all-metal quick release coupling on the steering wheel
may be added.
Source: I have a complete set of front/rear aftermarket adjustable arms sitting in my garage to prototype/test. On my full interior street car. For fun. Not for race.

1) If you're actually serious about wanting opinions, there are TONS of them online if you actually searched. Penske and JRZ both make high end motorsports coilovers for this platform, hope you've got $8-$13k ready for them. High end motorsports parts are good regardless of platform, you don't need an FRS/BRZ/GT86 specific opinion to know Penske shocks are great. If you're more budget conscious, look at RCE T2's or T3's, Tein SRC's, etc. They'll be a compromise, but they're still quite good (and have warranties).

2) Anyone claiming to be as serious as you would be contacting a supplier or manufacturer to have a set custom sprung/valved to your needs, not asking for off the shelf stuff on a forum.

3) Maximum camber you can get varies on so many variables. But again, if you're actually this serious you would know that camber should be set to maximize grip (based on pyrometer readings), and not by some arbitrary number someone on a forum told you. It's also going to vary track to track, and even side to side on some tracks.

You come in asking for impossible answers with no details, then get dismissive when very helpful people try to help with exactly zero information. Don't blame others because no one can help you with an impossible question, blame yourself for not providing any information that is absolutely needed to get you a reasonable answer.
Thank you for your help.

I know all the big name's in this industry. I know how much they all cost. I know if i call or email them they will tell me all what i want to hear.

What I just want to know is what everyone is running on their race car. What Brand is on there car? Was the brand they put on there car reliable?, or did they have any issue? how was the company's support (after sale)? etc... I wanted an answer from someone who really had an experience with there car and the coilover they have.

My questions is not impossible , as i explained before none here is yet qualified to answer. that's all. I'm not blaming anyone for answering. It's just that everyone that replied so far doesn't have an answer. and they are just either trolling the thread, or a fan boy. to be fair some tried to help and i thank them for that.

If all of the none "stripped out race car" answers are as professional as yours they are more then welcome to replay, but they will only waist there time.

I'm so sorry that i disappoint most of you. that this thread is not what you where looking for to share your none experienced information. (this sentence mite sound bad, but its not an attempt to disrespect anyone, and I tried to avoid using it from the begging)

I really didn't expect a lot of answer's to my thread. i was really going to be happy if i got one or two answer's from a qualified member.

Thank you

Read the series rules, then we can figure out who is qualified to answer and who is not.

I am not a race car driver nor do I aspire to be one. But what I do know is that everyone has their own rules and the rules dictate what you can and cannot do.

Start by being SPECIFIC with the series rules first, then figure out what you can and cannot do.

Thank you Alex.

Most of the answer's i got were referring me to go with Ohlins.

The rule's are simply no external reservoir, and I can't move the stock shock location.

I would suggest you to include this relevant information in the future.

In fact, I would suggest you to include ALL relevant information regarding race series and rules if you want an actual answer. Sorry, your first post was as vague as your location (as others have pointed out).

Interesting how it took 2 pages of flames for important details like no external reservoir to come out.

I'm really sorry for upsetting you. but the rules for the championship that I'm going to inter has nothing to do with my question. I was just trying to be polite and answer his question.

But the reality is he or you still did not answer my question.

What are you entering? Post the series and you'll get the answer you want.

I'm done here.

And again I'm sorry for being straight forward, and disappointed most of you.

But I promise you all. That my next thread will be an open party. and everyone can participate.

Please answer my question: What racing series are you entering that is prohibiting external reservoirs from being used?
