It's been a great ride, hell im kind of in the same boat as you. At lest in my case I don't really have an urgent need for a bigger car. But if anything comes up that fits the need I'll be trading it in.

More cars as in more than one at a time I hope. 86/BRZ is quite far from being a functioning family car. We have a Corolla to go with it so the 86 is my toy. That arrangement works. I also have access to my dad's VW SportWagen 4Motion DSG. It's highly, highly flexible. Probably the best all round family car. I can live with it being the only car, but an 86+SportWagen pairing would be ideal.

Don't be surprised if your wife one day says "I miss the BRZ"
We replaced my BRZ with an Impreza hatch.
Even now, my wife points out that the suspension in the Impreza makes her nauseous (much more float, less controlled body motions).

So, Tada-san, when are you gonna make that 4-door 86?

You could buy my Lava! I will sell it to you dirt cheap right now.

... that weights almost 5,000 lbs. The mass will lower CG by more 2 inches so handling will be greatly improved. And it will sing beautiful lullaby to you whenever it notices you've fallen asleep at the wheel. Yes! REALLY looking forward to it!

Damn, dude, congrats!

Don't you want to wait for just a few more months, though? Details of the new model should start to emerge near the end of the year and apparently it will be available in mid-2021 as a 2022 model...I think!

Do you think if you buy the Hakone right now you may possibly regret it by early next year IF the all-new model turns out to be something worthwhile?
