Alignment when springs are installed or after they have settled?

When I install my RCE starter kit lite on my stock struts with my stock rims and tires, should I get an alignment when they are installed? Or should I wait until the springs settle correctly after a few hundred miles?

I'd give it a couple weeks/100 miles or so unless you're terribly out of alignment (which I doubt).

I waited a week after I had installed lowering springs on my previous car, and then had it aligned. Never had any unusual tire wear in the 80,000km I had the car lowered.

When you initially get the springs installed, your alignment will likely be a little bit out, the steering wheel might be a little crooked but it shouldn't hurt to wait a few days before getting alignment.

I used to drive normally for about a week or so then get the car aligned. I've had cars lowered in the past and never had them aligned and they wrere fine. No uneven wear on the tires and no unusal pulling or handling, but it is a good habit to have the car aligned any time you pull the suspension apart though. Or that's what I've been told over the years.

A day to a week is fine. Our springs don't settle too much.

Perfect! So I should have them install the camber bolts and bushings at the same time of spring installation, then wait a week, then align?

Yes, definitely get it all installed at the same time.

I would be fine with getting an alignment anytime within a week.
