Measuring now... lessee.... bedroom to bathroom.... bathroom to kitchen....

About 40 feet.. .. that's the routine daily commute.

My gigs are all over the place. Most of the semi-regular stuff is w/in 25 miles one way, but some are well over 200 miles.

The rest of the things can easily change what you complain about without "changing what the car is." Proper sound deadening is really easy, doesn't cost that much, and doesn't add that much weight. And as long as you don't go overboard you can get a decent sound system for not much money and not add weight. You'd be amazed at what just raising the car 10mm can do for the feel.

Used to be 25 miles,
Now 10 miles, I fill up my tank every 9-10 days.
12 days if I don't go far on the weekend.

Somehow only 9 miles. I really lucked out there and makes it extra hard to think about moving jobs.

6 miles/9.7km each way.
My commute is surface streets with lots of potholes and idiots to dodge and I still enjoy every minute.
I love when I get to take it on the highway though...
65k miles/105k kms and I just had to replace the clutch and TOB due to putting it off. Subaru covered the parts and I paid for labor.

My current commute for the last 2 years is 25km/14mi round trip.

In the 6 years I've owned the car I have had commutes ranging from 7km/4mi to 240km/150mi round trip. Never had a complaint about this car on any of them. Same with the half dozen trips I take to LA every year for fun (about 1100km/700mi round trip).

950m... meters... I "usually" walk..

I use my car for a few short trips in the week. Fill up once every 1-1.5 months.

75-80 miles each way depending on the route I take. So 150-160 miles per day. I drive a 2000 Honda insight for my commute.

I think from my bed to my desk is about 40 feet and then it's another 6 or 7 feet to where I get the best cell signal to make phone calls. Working in pajamas and slipper FTW.

When I have to go out on the road I'll do anywhere from 100-600 miles a day, usually about 10 days a month now.
